Ubuntu Studio和Ubuntu Linux的区别

相对于普通的的Ubuntu Linux而言，Ubuntu Studio更适合于多媒体设计人员，也就是说Ubuntu Studio更适合经常搞图片和电脑音乐的Linux爱好者们。

Ubuntu Studio采用的是Xfce的界面，内置了多种Ubuntu本身没有内置的图片、音乐与影片编辑工具，并且还附带了一套可以与Mac媲美的主题。

至今，UbuntuStudio的最新版本为14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)，技术支持期达5年。 2014年10月 Ubuntu 14.10 版本衍生的 ubuntu studio 新版即将发布。

一些国内ubuntu studio爱好者透露出的将要在一年之后更新的10.04版ubuntustudio将更名为ubuntu studiox。国内的ubuntustudio爱好者和一个设计团队参考了最终幻想和仙剑奇侠传四的Logo设计，并听取了ubuntu官方论坛的、百度黄金太阳吧和/*TheUbuntu Studio*/百度俱乐部成员的意见之后设计出了ubuntu studio 10将会使用的Logo。

据悉，ubuntu studio x将会使用GNOME+KDE双桌面，参考了大量Archlinux、fedora、Debian与opensuse的设计灵感，同时还会完善内核，增加更多针对多媒体爱好者开发的软件包，例如dssi-vst和wine。
